“The Mi Note 2 flaunts a 22.56MP Sony camera, up to 6GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of storage”
After being the subject of a number of reports and leaks, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 flagship has finally been officially unveiled in China. It comes as a successor to last year’s Mi Note.
The Mi Note 2 is the company’s first smartphone to flaunt a dual curved display, similar to the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Note7 and Galaxy S7 edge etc. After the recently launched Mi 5s, the Mi Note 2 is the second smartphone from the company to boast Qualcomm’s Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, which is integrated into the phone’s virtual home button.
The device sports curved 3D glass on both the front and back, and utilises Series 7 aluminium in its construction.
Coming to the other specs, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 flaunts a 5.7-inch QHD OLED Sunlight Display Pro with a 77.2 percent screen-to-body ratio and
110 percent NTSC colour gamut.
The performance is provided by a 2.35GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, which comes with native support for VR. The device comes in three configurations – 4GB of RAM + 64GB of storage, 6GB of RAM + 128GB of storage, and 6GB of RAM + 128GB of storage (international variant). Software-wise, the phone runs MIUI 8, which is based on Android Marshmallow.
The camera department on the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 includes a 22.56MP camera at the rear with a Sony IMX318 sensor, EIS (electronic image stabilization), f/2.0 aperture, 4K video recording support and a dual-LED flash. The phone gets
a dedicated 3-axis gyroscope inside the main camera that helps with EIS on 4K video stabilization. In
the front, it gets an 8MP selfie shooter with anIMX268 Exmor RS Sensor,
auto focus and f/2.0 aperture. In terms of connectivity, it offers support for 37 global networks, 4G LTE+ with up to 600Mbps downloads speeds, NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, a USB Type-C port, and GPS with SAP. Under the hood, it gets a beefy 4,070mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
Coming to the pricing, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2’s 4GB / 64GB variant has been priced at RMB 2,799 (approx. Rs 27,630), while the 6GB / 128GB and 6GB / 128GB international variant will set you back by RMB 3,299 (approx. Rs 32,560) and RMB 3,499 (around Rs 34,530) respectively. The phone will go on sale in China on November 1st from Mi.com and Mi Home stores in Piano Black and Glacial Silver. It is also expected to be launched in the international markets by the end of the year.
What Does ‘I’ in iPhone Means?,Did You Ever Think..?
There is no wonder that iPhone is one of the most attracted and most wanted smartphones by almost every tech freak in the world. There was never been a flop show from any iPhone till now. This has continued right from the first iPhone which was launched in 2006 by Steve Jobs. But one thing you have to know is that – iPhone is not the first Apple product which name starts with ‘i’, there are several products like iMac, iPod, iPad etc. So did you figure out the common thing in all of these? Yes, what does the ‘i’ at the front of each one of them mean?
The naming pattern began in 1998, when Steve Jobs first released the iMac. Since then, nearly all new Apple products — up until the launch of the Apple TV and the Apple Watch — have been preceded by the lowercase letter.
When Jobs first introduced the iMac, he explained the meaning behind the “i” at the computer’s launch event . In the beginning, it stood for internet. But it was so, so much more. The prefix also stood for individual, instruct, inform, and inspire. So much meaning in a single letter!
“An iMac comes from a marriage of the excitement of the internet with the simplicity of Macintosh,” he said in the announcement. we can’t even imagine a computer that does not have the capability of connecting to the internet. But, when this one first launched, there were few that did.
Since then, the “i” has moved beyond its Internet-centric meaning; Apple probably didn’t have the Internet in mind when naming the original iPod.
When the iPhone was announced in 2007, one of its three key ingredients was Internet communication, bringing the “i” back to its original intended meaning of Internet.
Almost everything Apple makes can connect to the internet now, so the consumer doesn’t actually need a reminder, but it’s still a major part of the brand. For example, when texting from iPhone to iPhone, you are iMessaging, and when you back things up remotely, you’re saving your photos and data to the iCloud
But as Apple continues to grow into other markets, including smartwatches and TV boxes, its famous prefix seems to be falling to the wayside. Instead of iWatch and iTV, we have Apple Watch and Apple TV. Perhaps this is because we no longer need to know our devices connect to the Internet — it’s something we’ve come to expect.

Apple launches limited edition 7 and 7 Plus model in new red colour..
Apple announced on Tuesday that it will begin selling an all-red special edition (PRODUCT)RED iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus on March 24. The new colour was brought to life in partnership with RED, he said.
