മകനുവേണ്ടിയാണ് താൻ സിനിമ അഭിനയം നിർത്തിയത് എന്ന് ത്യാഗരാജ് പറയുന്നു. എന്റെ സിനിമ ജീവിതം മകനെ ബാധിക്കരുത് എന്ന് നിര്&#x200d;ബന്ധം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു അതുകൊണ്ട് മനപ്പൂര്&#x200d;വ്വം പല ചിത്രങ്ങളില്&#x200d; നിന്നും മാറിനില്&#x200d;ക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. എന്നാല്&#x200d; നല്ല ഒരുപാട് സിനിമകള്&#x200d; പ്രശാന്തിന് കിട്ടിയിരുന്നു എങ്കിലും പിന്നീട് അതെല്ലാം കൈവിട്ടു പോകുവായിരുന്നു . പ്രശ്നത്തിന്റെദാമ്പത്യബന്ധം തകർന്നുതുകൊണ്ടാണ് താരത്തിന്റെ കരിയറും നഷ്ട്ടമായതു. പ്രശാന്തിന്റെ വിവാഹം ഞങ്ങൾക്കു പറ്റിയ ഒരു അബദ്ധം ആയിരുന്നു എന്ന് ത്യാഗരാജൻ പറയുന്നു. അച്ഛനും അമ്മയും കണ്ടുപിടിക്കുന്ന പെണ്&#x200d;കുട്ടിയെ മാത്രമേ കല്യാണം കഴിക്കൂ എന്ന് പ്രശാന്ത് പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. ഒരുപക്ഷേ പ്രണയിച്ച് വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചിരുന്നു എങ്കില്&#x200d; അവന്റെ ജീവിതം ഇങ്ങനെ ആവില്ലായിയരുന്നു നടന്&#x200d; പറഞ്ഞത്.

നല്ല കുടുമ്ബമായിരുന്നു,എല്ലാവരും ഡോക്ടർസ്. ഒരു ബന്ധുവിൽ നിന്നുമാണ് ഈ ആലോചന വന്നത് .ആ വിവാഹം തന്നെയായിരുന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ പ്രശാന്തിനോടു ചെയ്ത തെറ്റ്. നേരത്തെ മറ്റൊരു വിവാഹം ചെയ്ത കാര്യം മറച്ചുവെച്ചുകൊണ്ടാണ് പെണ്&#x200d;കുട്ടി ഈ വിവാഹത്തിന് ഒരുങ്ങിയത്. വിവാഹമോചനം എത്തിയപ്പോഴാണ് ഈ കാര്യം ഞങ്ങള്&#x200d; അറിഞ്ഞതും വേർപിരിയൽ ഉണ്ടായതും നടൻ പറയുന്നു.
